Living Room Overview
This room contains an extraordinarily large and dense collection of antique and vintage brass, copper, and bronze metalware, predominantly of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Southeast Asian origin. Three large black metal shelving units spanning the full width of one wall hold hundreds of individual pieces across 5-6 shelves each, including ornate engraved vases, dallah coffee pots, ewers, pitchers, urns, decorative bowls, lidded vessels, candlesticks, lanterns, and ceremonial or utilitarian copperware. The tops of the shelving units and a separate wooden display cabinet to the right are also loaded with tall decorative brass vases, candleholders, and ornamental pieces, with an estimated 30-40 items displayed at ceiling height alone. A wooden antique display cabinet with glass panels stands against the right wall, its top crowded with additional tall brass items. The foreground and floor area contain cardboard boxes filled with overflow metalware, loose brass objects, tools for sorting, and packing materials, suggesting an active estate clearing process already underway — overall the room holds an estimated 300-500+ individual metal objects of varying sizes and origins.
