Antique Cast Iron and Brass Pressing Irons Collection
A substantial collection of antique pressing irons spanning what appears to be the 19th and early 20th centuries, including large sad irons with wooden handles, charcoal/box irons, and a variety of miniature decorative irons in brass and cast iron. The larger irons show expected patina and wear consistent with age and use, while several of the smaller brass pieces appear to be novelty or salesman’s sample irons in good decorative condition. The wooden handles range from worn to intact, and the collection includes a brass teardrop-shaped iron with a perforated sole plate — a particularly interesting piece.

💡 Would appeal strongly to laundry antique collectors or primitive tool collectors; could also group with other cast iron or domestic antique items in the estate
